Court of Honor 10/26

Hey guys,

This week we are having a Court of Honor at the Balkman's residence at 7:00. Boys remember to wear your class A uniforms(Prize for the best dressed scout!). We have over 60 awards to give out so this will be a great opportunity to show your friends and family all the hard work you guys have been putting in so invite everyone!

We are having it outside around a bonfire so everyone should dress warm and BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR!!! If you have any questions just contact me via email or 808-8808, texting is best.

HAYRIDE!!! 10/17

Hey everyone!!!

This week we will be meeting at the Stephens' house for a combined activity. We are having a Hayride, hog dogs, s'mores, and lots of fun!!! This would be a great activity to invite your friends! Hope every one can make it. WE ARE MEETING EARLY! 6:30!!! Don't be late or you will miss 30 mins of fun!!!

BUSY WEEK AHEAD

We have a busy week planned so here we go!

Wednesday night's 4 ward activity has been CANCELLED due to muddy conditions. It may be rescheduled for a later date but for now it has been cancelled. Due to the temple trip on thursday we are not going forego any activities on wednesday. NO MUTUAL ON WEDNESDAY.

That brings us to Thursday night. We will be going to the temple to do baptisms. Everyone should meet at the Stake Center at 4:30 for food and be ready to leave no later than 5:00. Be sure to be in Sunday dress and bring whatever extra underwear or other personal items you might need with you.

This weekend we are planning on completing the archery merit badge. We will get you the time and place details on thursday but plan on coming to do a quick service project and then shoot till your heart is content! This is a fantastic opportunity for you to complete the badge if you did not get the opportunity at scout camp and if you already have the badge then just come and show off your skills!!! We want everyone to be there!

Lastly there is a stake dance Saturday night at 7:00 at the Stake Center. This is a costume dance so be creative and lets look sharp! Your costumes must be modest(Connor) and no masks are allowed. Maybe you guys should all dress up together?! You never know there just might be a prize for the best costume!

Wednesday 10/5 SKEET SHOOTING

This week we will be meeting @ Bishop Moody's house at 6pm to do some skeet shooting. We are meeting early to save daylight so please be on time and ready to shoot by 6. Everything will be provided so all you need to bring is your A game!!! If you have a shotgun feel free to bring it.

Wednesday night 9/26

This week  we are changing the plan up a little. We are going to meet at the Balkman's house at 6:00 in order to take part in the crossover ceremony for a couple of our new 11 year old scouts. This is a great chance for us to welcome the newest members of our troop! Dinner will be provided so be hungry (shouldn't be a problem!) After the ceremony we will go ahead and finish our first aid merit badge with Sis Blackburn.

Hope everyone can come! It would be great if you guys could be in class A uniforms for the crossover ceremony. You can take them off afterwards if you want to.

October Calendar

This Weeks Activities 9/18/11

We have a great week planned! Tuesday night (9/20) we are going to the temple to do baptisms with the young women. We are going to meet at the Stake Center @ 4:30pm, food will be provided, and we will leave @5:00.

We will also meet on Wednesday night (9/21) @ 7:00 at the Noble building to prep for our campout and get the groceries we will need.

Knock on wood but it looks like we picked a great weekend for a campout! The heat is finally out of here (hopefully for good) and the forecast is dry. As you know we are heading to the Blue River near Tishomingo, OK for our wilderness survival campout this weekend. Everyone will meet @ Bishop Moody's house @ 4:30 on Friday (9/23), and hopefully we can be on the road by 5:00. We need to leave as early as possible so that the boys have plenty of light to build their shelters! Remember, this is the wilderness survival campout so the boys will be spending the night in the shelters that they build! We will get more information out on tuesday about what each boy needs to bring.
